I was backing up my computer yesterday (you all back up your files, right???) and saw a great photo of some black light fun with the Professor at the 2013 Edwardian Ball. While paying more attention to this blog, I realized that I didn’t have any photos of my prop manipulations of the recent past….
This was an ensemble performance so I cannot recall which floating object is in my hand. This is a great photo though!
This was also an ensemble performance. I’m pretty sure I was the floating crab/spider thing above Mr. Nobody’s head. We turned the back of a delivery truck into a swamp shack and had a very funky thang going back there. So much so that we had dozens in line outside the truck and only one real break to go outside and look at other installations. The cops shut the joint down but not after we spun a buncha magik n good times.
I had a very small bit part with this sideshow for the Professor’s Mystic Midway. While not competing with the PA system right beside our space, I guided folks into getting their fortunes read by a cranky, sometimes-clunky fortunetelling machine. Dave Haaz-Baroque made the puppet and was voice/movement while I had a side-kick shtick going.
