Kristina is returning to Oakland’s hippest jazz bar, Cafe Van Kleef, with music by producer Jef Stott on oud and laptop, Scott Sterling on dumbek drum, and vocals from Tunisian singer MC Rai. Their marriage of classic Middle Eastern music and dance with modern sound and movement appeals to venues and audiences not normally drawn to belly dance.
